Financial Literacy Instruct is a high-quality instruction tuning dataset for financial literacy assistants, built from trusted U.S. government financial education publications including IRS and Department of Labor guidance. The dataset contains multi-turn instruction-response conversations grounded in authoritative source excerpts. Each example includes a system prompt defining assistant behavior, a user prompt with financial literacy questions, and an assistant response generated only from source evidence. The dataset covers 21 financial literacy categories such as investment income, retirement planning, and small business taxes. It is available in Parquet format with 25.3K training examples and 2.8K evaluation examples, totaling 23.5 MB.
