After one month of shrimp rearing experiment with an actinomycete strain A3, 20 litre water was collected and filtered from experimental tank and subjected to ferric chloride precipitation to collect the whole microbial load. Microbial DNA was extracted using Zhou et al., 1998 protocol and sent for NGS via Illumina sequencing platform. Metadata was submitted and processed in MGRAST server.
