资源简介:
Pacific oysters (Magallana gigas) experience significant mortalities due to Pacific Oyster Mortality Syndrome (POMS). The DECICOMP project investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying disease permissivity by evaluating the impact of temperature, diet, and age. In this study, two families (F11N and F14R) of 3-month-old disease-susceptible biparental oysters were maintained under permissive conditions (23C, fed ad libitum). This acclimatation lasted 16 days before infection via cohabitation for 72 hours, with sampling at 0h, 3h, 6h, 12h, 24h, 48h, and 72h, Each sample is a pool of 10 oysters, with three replicates. RNA-Seq was performed on extracted total RNA using an Illumina NextSeq 550 platform. The resulting dataset provides insights into gene expression patterns in unstressed oysters and serves as a control reference for further comparative studies.
