资源简介:
Here we present raw data, R scripts and additional datasets used in a Brazilian project that investigated the effects of roads as facilitators of plant invasions in tropical forests and savannas.
In this study, we investigated how edge effects of roads facilitate plant invasions in protected areas of forest and savanna, and how they affect native vegetation. We conducted replicated multi-strata surveys in 180 plots and 60 patches (groups of plots), distributed across protected areas of forest and savanna, in two treatments: edge of the road and core (50m from the road). We analyzed diversity metrics (species richness, abundance and evenness) in plot and patch scales, and β-diversity.
Our datasets are open; feel free to use them as you want. If you think our expertise can be important in your paper, feel free to invite us to participate.
