Floating kelp canopies can be visualized using aerial imagery; these imagery products represent the first low-tide, slack-current multispectral imagery collected across large portions of Washington State (WA), and build upon previous floating kelp monitoring work conducted by the WA State Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR) and partners. This 6-inch imagery has four bands, and was collected in summer 2022.
