地下污水处理厂 (U-WWTP) 已成为城市废水污染物管理的一种新范式,具有缓解 NIMBY(不在我后院)效应和有效利用土地资源等好处。中国走在前列,见证了U-WWTP技术和部署的快速进步。然而,如果不能深入了解城市污水处理的地理分布和运行特点,就可能导致规划和建设错位,从而导致城市污水处理的资源配置和处理能力效率低下。该数据集提供了自1995年以来中国所有U-WWTP构建(共计201个)的空间分布、过程选择和排放标准的最新概况。为了加强比较分析,该数据集补充了传统地上废水处理厂(A-WWTP)的信息,共包括2464条记录,从而丰富了对不同废水处理方法的更全面的评估。利用该数据集可为城市污水系统的战略管理提供必要的数据支撑,为既有污水处理厂的范式改造提供有价值的参考。
Underground wastewater treatment plants (U-WWTPs) have emerged as a new paradigm for urban wastewater pollutant management, offering benefits such as alleviating NIMBY (Not In My Backyard) effects and efficient land resource utilization. China has taken the lead, witnessing rapid advancements in U-WWTP technology and deployment. However, without an in-depth understanding of the geographical distribution and operational characteristics of urban wastewater treatment, mismatched planning and construction may occur, leading to inefficient resource allocation and treatment capacity in urban wastewater treatment. This dataset provides an up-to-date overview of the spatial distribution, process selection, and emission standards of all constructed U-WWTPs in China since 1995, totaling 201 units. To enhance comparative analysis, this dataset is supplemented with information on traditional above-ground wastewater treatment plants (A-WWTPs), with a total of 2464 records, thereby enabling a more comprehensive assessment of diverse wastewater treatment approaches. Utilizing this dataset can provide essential data support for the strategic management of urban wastewater systems, as well as valuable references for paradigm retrofitting of existing wastewater treatment plants.
