SEMANTIZATION TECHNOLOGIES IN ELECTRONIC AND CORPUS-BASED EXPLANATORY DICTIONARIES

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of the semantization process in electronic and corpus-based explanatory dictionaries, which represent one of the key directions in modern lexicography. In particular, the role of lexical-semantic networks, automatic seme extraction, clustering algorithms, and semantic tagging systems in dictionary compilation is elucidated. The advantages of identifying word meanings based on corpus linguistics are also highlighted.
