This dynamic tourist flow dataset was constructed based on field observations and multi-source data collection carried out at the Palace Museum's Treasure Hall during September and October 2024. Data collection approaches encompass on-site observations, questionnaire surveys, and ticketing system records, capturing core indicators including tourist entry times, real-time visitor volumes in each exhibition zone, and length of stay. The dataset covers specific time points: September 29, 2024; October 17, 2024; and October 25 through 26, 2024, with a temporal resolution of 15 minutes. Spatially, it spans four primary exhibition areas within the Treasure Hall, using individual independent exhibition halls as the fundamental recording units. Multiple rounds of quality control have been conducted throughout the data processing phase, including outlier removal, statistical consistency verification, and model parameter calibration, to guarantee the reliability and consistency of the dataset. This dataset possesses considerable scientific research and practical value, being applicable to fields such as tourist flow management at cultural heritage sites, digital twin modeling, tourist behavior analysis, and policy simulation. The total size of the dataset is 8.90 MB.
