NRS-20841 | Ward admission books [Callan Park Hospital]

This series comprises handwritten admission books for Callan Park Hospital. The books were compiled from 1949 but include patients with first admission dates as early as about 1911. The books are hand-ruled with columns for recording: Name, Admission, Religion, M or S [married or single], and Transfers. The date - date, month and year - is usually written across the top of the page. The books for 1949-1951 and 1957-1960 are different formats - an exercise book and a hardcover book respectively.  The book for 1957-1960 has '5' on the cover and may be the book  for Ward 5. A loose page from the 1949-1951 register has been used to record details for December 1960. Entries are chronological by date of admission.
