藻类的培养是进行藻类学科学实验的重要起始工作,选择合适的培养基是顺利培养藻类的基础。然而,由于藻类培养基的成分十分复杂,藻类的培养基成分的配置,分散在国内外多个种质库的网站介绍中,且绝大部分在在我国中文网页信息中找不到,尤其在百度搜索结果中良莠不齐,有许多错误,给藻类研究带来许多不便。目前本藻类培养基数据库已收录344个藻类培养基配方和219个相关的微量元素母液配方。希望为国内从事藻类方面的企事业单位提供可靠而全面的信息来源。本库(截止2022年5月25日)是目前世界上最大最全的培养基配方数据库。

Algal culture is a fundamental initial step for scientific experiments in phycology, and selecting an appropriate culture medium is the critical basis for successful algal cultivation. However, due to the highly complex composition of algal culture media, their formulation protocols are scattered across the websites of multiple germplasm banks both domestically and internationally. Most of this information is unavailable on Chinese-language webpages within China, and the search results from Baidu are particularly of uneven quality and contain numerous errors, causing substantial inconvenience to algal research. Currently, this algal culture medium database has collected 344 algal culture medium recipes and 219 related trace element stock solution formulas. It aims to provide a reliable and comprehensive information source for domestic enterprises and institutions engaged in algal research. As of May 25, 2022, this database is the largest and most comprehensive culture medium recipe database worldwide.
