资源简介:
In this study, we aim to characterize the root microbiome response to TWW irrigation and compare the impact of the plant genotype, the soil and water quality on the root and soil microbiome. To address these issues, we conducted a mesocosm scale experiment, in which two different plants were grown in lysimeters, filled with two different soil types, during two consecutive years and characterized the bacterial community structure by 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing. We focused on plant root and soil microbial communities and compared the effect of TWW irrigation, soil types and plant hosts, on both total (resident based on 16s rRNA gene, DNA analyses) and "active" (based on 16S rRNA) microbial populations.
