本表係統計大專校院學期內退學人數，並按退學原因分為因學業成績、操行成績、志趣不合、逾期未註冊、休學逾期未復學及其他原因。

This table records the number of students who dropped out of colleges and universities per semester, and categorizes the dropouts by their respective reasons: academic performance, conduct performance, mismatch of interests and aptitudes, failure to register by the deadline, suspended studies without resuming within the prescribed time limit, and other reasons.
