Gas exchange parameters transpiration rate (E), stomatal conductance (Gs), net photosynthesis (Pn) and water use efficiency (WUE) in basal and apical leaves of L. japonicus Gifu B-129 and MG-20 plants.
Seven-day-old plants were watered with 0.50 Hoagland’s nutrient solution, with or without the addition of 10 mM NaHCO3 during a period of 21 days. Results are the mean of 12 biological replicates ±SE.
