Unlike PD-L1, little is known about the biological relevance and regulatory mechanism of PD-L2, another PD-1 ligand, in cancer. We constructed single-cell transcriptomic, surface phenotypic, and T/B-cell receptor repertoire maps of nonmalignant cells from mock-, Pd-l1-, and Pd-l2-expressing murine tumors. In addition, we identified a novel PD-L2 exon and performed CAGE-seq to precisely characterize the transcriptional start site.
