This data set contains spatiotemporally collocated Normalized Radar Cross-sections (NRCS) differences with model, and the wind speed information from the C- and Ku-band spaceborne wind scatterometers, with their corresponding wind and wave information, as well as surface rain rate information. The scatterometer information are obtained from ASCAT-A and ASCAT-B for C band and OSCAT-2 for the Ku-band. The observational information is obtained from the L2 products, wave information is from NDBC buoy observations. Rain rates are from the GPM final run products.
