On the 15 January 2024 at 22:00, the Tropical Cyclone BELAL-24 is forecast to hit Réunion Island.The event is expected to cause damage in urban coastal areas and to have a medium humanitarian impact based on the maximum sustained wind speed, exposed population and vulnerability.Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide initial rough estimation, storm extent and damage assessment emergency mapping.
