This record contains the cleaned datasets, MATLAB scripts, and supplementary output tables supporting the manuscript “Timing of preharvest deficit irrigation shapes harvest status, phenolic composition and postharvest behavior of ‘Angeleno’ Japanese plum under contrasting storage systems”. The repository includes two cleaned English-language datasets: one for harvest and postharvest variables and one for phenolic composition. It also includes MATLAB scripts corresponding to the main analytical blocks of the manuscript: harvest status, phenolic composition, refrigerated storage, controlled-atmosphere storage, modified atmosphere packaging storage, and the supplementary 2015 refrigerated-air assay. The 2014 season includes harvest status, phenolic composition, refrigerated-storage data, and controlled-atmosphere storage data. The 2015 season includes harvest status, prolonged modified atmosphere packaging storage, and a short-term refrigerated-air assay retained as supplementary support. The 2016 season is included only for harvest-status assessment; postharvest physiological data from 2016 were outside the final analytical scope of the manuscript and are not included in this repository. Treatment codes are: CON, fully irrigated control; RDI, regulated deficit irrigation imposed earlier during fruit development; and RDP, late preharvest deficit irrigation.
