Using CO for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx in boilers (CO-SCR) can significantly reduce flue gas treatment costs. This paper investigates the high-temperature performance of Fe-Cr composite catalysts supported on honeycomb ceramic alumina (HCA) for CO-SCR. By varying the bimetallic ratio, aging temperature, and loading amount, optimal material preparation conditions are determined. Experimental results demonstrate that the Fe-Cr/HCA catalyst exhibits excellent performance in the catalytic reduction of NO. When the Fe to Cr ratio is 1: 1, the aging temperature is 300°C, and the impregnation is performed 15 times, the Fe-Cr/HCA catalyst achieves the highest denitration performance, with NO conversion rates approaching 100% in the temperature range of 400°C to 800°C under the tested conditions. The catalyst surface forms a solid solution of FeCr2O4, with the synergistic effects of Fe2O3 and Cr2O3 enhancing denitration efficiency.
