EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONS INFLUENCE MOTOR ADAPTATION OF PERCEPTUAL PERTURBATIONS

Current investigations have demonstrated the structural and functional evidence linking cognition, motor control and adaptive behaviour, however it remains unclear how executive functions influence motor adaptation. To approach this issue, it is necessary to investigate how executive functions influence responses to both unpredictable and predictable perturbations, as adaptive behaviour differs as a function of the predictability of the perturbation.
