Field predation rates and biomass densities of predators and prey across taxa and scales

We collected 32 studies reporting field kills, mainly for higher terrestrial vertebrates, over an extended period of time (typically a year or more), and estimated biomass densities and mass-specific metabolic rates of predators and prey.
