In 2016, GPCOG staff worked with town officials to prepare a Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment for the Town of Chebeague Island. The assessment discusses the latest science behind sea level rise, identifies risks to publicly-owned infrastructure (including ferry piers, roads, culverts, and buildings), as well as risks to environmental resources, such as coastal bluffs and groundwater resources.
