Tetraodon nigroviridis haplotype-resolved complete Genome sequencing and assembly

Genome size evolution across vertebrates exhibits remarkable diversity, while maintaining a stable number of protein-coding genes. However, the lack of high-quality, complete genome assemblies has hindered detailed investigations into its mechanisms. Here, we present two haplotype-resolved, complete telomere-to-telomere (T2T) genome assemblies of Tetraodon nigroviridis, the animal with the smallest known vertebrate genome.
