The cytoplasm of a Sertoli cell is colored pink, its nucleus brown. Note that 2D imaging gives the impression of several finger-like cell extensions that in 3D reconstruction turned out to be peripheral cuts of the extraordinary cell shape of the mutant Sertoli cell. (ZIP)
