Brassinosteroid (BR) is a class of steroid hormones that regulates various processes of plant growth and development. Transcriptomic analysis of roots of 5-day-old seedlings treated with a high concentration of BR for 24h, or germinated in media supplemented with BR biosynthesis inhibitor, propiconazole (PPZ), were performed in rice. Differentially expressed genes of BR responses that regulated root growth were identified.
