SATB1 regulated genes in the mouse ectoplacental cone

SATB homeobox 1 (SATB1) is involved in maintaining trophoblast stem cell proliferation and inhibiting differentiation. SATB1 is preferentially expressed in the trophoblast stem-state and down-regulated during differentiation. It is also expressed in high levels in mouse ectoplacental cones. Using an Illumina HiSeq platform, RNA sequencing was performed on the ectoplacental cones collected from day 7.5 wildtype and Satb1 null mouse conceptuses.
