PRINCIPLES OF THE ADVENTURE-DETECTIVE LITERARY STYLE IN THE WORKS OF TOHIR MALIK

This article provides a theoretical and in-depth analysis of the adventure-detective works of Tohir Malik, People’s Writer of Uzbekistan, including the “Shaytanat” series, “Ov”, “Charxpalak”, “Murdalar gapirmaydilar”, and others. The main objective of the research is to reveal the principles of the author's literary style namely, plot dynamics, the suspense effect, literary psychological issues, the synthesis of fantastic elements, and the socio - moral warning idea based on literary theory. The study employs text analysis, comparative, and structural approaches. It demonstrates how Tohir Malik’s oeuvre enriches the detective genre in Uzbek literature with national spirit and philosophical depth, as well as highlights comparative aspects with Western detective traditions. The article constitutes a new scholarly contribution to the study of Uzbek prose of the independence period.
