The following information about the CD-ROM was abstracted from the
Bureau of Transportation Statistics Announcement of Availability for
the Directory of Transportation Data Sources 1995:
The second edition of the Directory of Transportation Data Sources
1995 has been released by the Gureau of Transportation Statistics
(BTS) of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The Directory
is an inventory of transportation statistical data bases and
publications that exist wighin the federal government. This year's
edition has been expanded to include information collected in the
private industry, Canada, and Mexico.
The purpose of the Directory is to provide users of transportation
statistics with a comprehensive catalog of data sources to effect
accessibility and availability information.
the Directory is also available on diskette in a dBase viewer format.
