Canine transmissible venereal tumor in the semi-arid region of Paraíba: a case-control study

This dataset compiles raw data from a case-control study on canine transmissible venereal tumor (cTVT) conducted in the semi-arid region of Paraíba, Brazil. Records were collected from dogs treated at the Small Animal Medical Clinic of the Federal University of Campina Grande between January 2022 and December 2024. The dataset includes information on sex, age group, body size, breed, neutering status, outdoor access, and living environment. These data provide a basis for epidemiological analyses of cTVT occurrence and associated risk factors in dogs from northeastern Brazil.
