RNA sequencing of Deschampsia antarctica during cold acclimation and de-acclimation processes

Cold acclimation can enhance the freezing tolerance of plants. Antarctic plants, such as Deschampsia antarctica, have been found to thrive under extremely low temperatures. In this study, we performed RNA sequencing of leaves collected from D. antarctica plants subjected to various durations of cold treatment to better understand the transcriptomic response of this species to cold acclimation and de-acclimation processes.
