Datasets and R script associated with the publication "Problems with using comparative analyses of avian brain size to test hypotheses of cognitive evolution". All datasets are collated from other sources, referenced in the manuscript and in the datasets. R_script.rmd is an R markdown file for all analyses and figures presented in the manuscript. The input files for this script are: for (1) visualising and quantifying variation in brain and body size between datasets: brain_size.csv body_size.csv for (2) the Corvides analysis: corvides.csv corvides.nex The corvides_references.xlsx file includes all sources for extracted variables.
