The presented datasets belong to the paper Ferreri et al., (2025) (https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-2025-335).
The Gargano Promontory (GP) in Southern Italy is characterized by a high low-magnitude seismicity rate with focal depths that reach the lower crust, as revealed by data from the OTRIONS seismic network (Tallarico et al., 2025), (University of Bari "Aldo Moro", 2013) and Rete Sismica Nazionale (RSN) (Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), 2005a). Initial acquisition issues limited the data quality but, post 2019, some upgrades enabled real-time and high-quality data streams. A decade (2013-2022) of recordings was reprocessed using CASP (Complete Automatic Seismic Processor) for the automatic detection, picking and location, identified 7162 events. Manual revision confirmed that 60% of this automatic detected events is characterized by local earthquakes. With manual revision, P- and S- phase picks were refined while locations were performed by using NonLinLoc and Hypo71. Results were organized in two catalogs: the first one with locations provided by the non-linear algorithm (NLL) and the second one with locations provided by the linear algorithm (H71).
