Rhizosphere microbiome of cork oak under forest decline disturbance

In this study we sampled asymptomatic and COD symptomatic cork oaks located in different stand health conditions across two sites, generated baseline information of the microbial and chemical rhizosphere properties, and tested the hypothesis that host health condition and rhizosphere communities are associated, despite the effect of rhizosphere chemistry variation on the microbial assemblages.
