For binary traits, effective sample size was used () and the validation datasets consisted of equal numbers of cases and controls. If the summary statistics included sample sizes for individual SNPs, the median of all SNPs passing QC was reported. For binary traits, the number of cases and controls were reported in the parenthesis.
