Each entry includes references to text editions, transliterations, and citations following BDTNS conventions, with occasional simplification. These data permit more accurate readings of Ur III texts. Scope and Methodology ● Transliteration Standards: BDTNS, except where otherwise indicated. All Sumerian words are underlined in the Excel file. ● Assumptions: Lacunae can be collated or edited based on parallel lines in the same or other texts. ● Uncertainties: See dataset comments. Future versions will include more collations and edits. Data Format ● File Type: CSV (UTF-8, tabular) ● Primary Fields: Text, BDTNS, CDLI, Line, Transliteration, Correction Type, Comment(s). ● Source Metadata: CDLI and BDTNS identifiers provided where available. I am also thankful for photographs of SAT 2 77 and YOS 4 232 provided by the Yale Babylonian Collection. Introduction This table includes Ur III text collations and edits. All citations and transliterations follow BDTNS (citations are sometimes simplified), unless otherwise stated, and all Sumerian is underlined in the Excel file. Collations are based on examining texts in person, and edits are any other corrections. Note that numbers are assumed to be based on diš unless parenthetically noted. Any number based on aš or ašc larger than 1 is formatted as X(aš) or X(ašc), even if X does not include one of these signs. For example, see the formatting of 11(aš) and 20(aš), among others, in ASJ 11, 182 according to BDTNS. Comments or questions can be sent to [e-mail].
