Drugs sensitivity profile in L. donovani promastigote lines.

Promastigote forms of L. donovani lines: wild-type (WT) and resistant lines to AmB (A), MLF (M), PMM (P), SbIII (S), AmB+MLF (AM), AmB+PMM (AP), AmB+SbIII (AS), MLF+PMM (MP), and SbIII+PMM (SP), were grown as described in Materials and Methods section for 72 h at 28°C in the presence of increasing concentrations of drugs. Cell viability was determined using an MTT-based assay. Resistance indexes, between parentheses, were calculated by dividing the EC50 for each resistant line by that for WT line.
