This series comprises files of meeting papers which document the issues considered by the Cabinet Standing Committee on Resources and Land Use including briefing papers, reports, decisions and recommendations, agenda and meeting minutes.The Committee was established to provide a forum for Ministers with portfolios including infrastructure, planning, environment, heritage, small business, primary industries, industrial relations and treasury, 'to discuss complex and contentious resources and land use issues, with the aim of developing clear options for Cabinet' and for overseeing the implementation of Cabinet decisions.(1)The Committee considered issues such as: ICAC recommendations to minimise corruption with regard to coal mining exploration, coal seam gas mining, power generation, and major infrastructure projects.Papers are held in file folders labelled 'Resources and Land Use' and with an abbreviated date control number (e.g. 41213 used for 04/12/2013 and 241013 used for 24/10/2013).  The dates used are the meeting dates, with a single folder per meeting.Endnotes1.
