Agent-based simulation of wolf habitat use in a post-mining landscape (Spreetal, Germany)

This dataset contains input data, model configuration, simulation outputs, and analysis results from an agent-based modeling study of wolf (Canis lupus) habitat use in a post-mining landscape in Spreetal, Germany. Habitat suitability was derived from GIS-based analysis and used as input for a NetLogo model simulating wolf movement under different landscape scenarios. The model incorporates environmental preferences and optional long-term spatial memory. The dataset includes:(1) habitat suitability rasters for baseline and modified landscapes,(2) model calibration results obtained using BehaviorSearch,(3) the final parameter set used for simulation,(4) simulated movement tracks for multiple scenarios (with and without memory, with and without barriers),(5) aggregated spatial memory data,and (6) spatial analysis results including heatmaps and DBSCAN-based cluster detection. The dataset enables full reproduction of the simulation workflow and provides a basis for further research on habitat use and landscape planning in post-mining environments.This dataset was developed as part of a Master's thesis in Applied Environmental Sciences.
