Distribution of isolated and overlapping chorus elements and their corresponding subpacket properties for the study "Statistical Analysis of Subpacket Structure in Isolated and Overlapping Chorus Elements"

This dataset provides the processed variables used to plot Figures 3–6 in this study. The data are organized by figure as follows: fig3.mat: L-shell, MLT, and AE index for all detected chorus elements, including separate location and AE for isolated and overlapped elements. fig4.mat: Subpacket properties of overlapped chorus elements: subpacket length, amplitude difference, and normalized frequency difference. fig5.mat: Subpacket properties of isolated chorus elements: maximum amplitude, subpacket length, coefficient of determination (R2), and normalized chirping rate. fig6.mat: Subpacket length and magnetic latitude (MLAT) of isolated chorus elements, separated into northward and southward propagating waves.
