This study focuses on Myxococcus strains InaCC B1484 and B1486, highlighting their potential for flavor biotransformation. Draft genome sequences (~10.75 Mbp each) revealed 99.99% ANI between the two strains and 89.5% ANI with Myxococcus stipitatus DSM14675. Both genomes contain genes for terpenoid and polyketide biosynthesis, including pathways for geraniol and limonene degradation.
