VPRS 14916 Staff Posting Records

This series was created to maintain a record of officers posted to regional locations. There are three sequences of cards of different colour. It is not known why the cards are in three sequences although the green coloured cards are those that record staff postings in earlier years. The cards record information about officers' postings prior to when the record keeping system commenced. This information would have been derived from other sources. The cards record the following information:- Name- date of birth- marital status- date of first appointment- classification- postings- date of cessation through resignation, retirement or death- housing information- dependants and their educational requirements- health of family (affecting posting)
