Angela's Bed and Breakfast - Integrated Project Dossier (2018)

166 Glebe Avenue, the current home of Angela’s Bed and Breakfast, is a historical and beautiful home in Ottawa’s Glebe neighbourhood. What makes the home unique is that the owners are proactive in preserving and updating their home, turning the home into a business that is an environmentally sustainable dwelling and making the home’s heritage both historically and environmentally significant. The property is part of Ward 17 and has the zoning of R3P with a mature neighbourhood overlay. The local area is colloquially known as the Glebe and is located just west of Bank St., south of Highway 417, which crosses through Ottawa. This is the Integrated Project Dossier compiled by a group of undergraduate students of the Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Program (Engineers and architects) at Carleton University for the CIVE3207 (ARCN4100) Historic Site Recording and Assessment course in 2018.
