By comparing the wood property indicators of other coniferous construction tree species, it is confirmed that cultivating Chinese pine (Pinus tabuliformis) as a construction timber forest is practically feasible. Based on basic survey data and local afforestation materials, the wood property indicators of the Chinese pine construction timber forest were measured. Combined with the specifications of construction timber products, the timber volume and yield rate of different diameter classes were derived, and the technical maturity age was determined by integrating these two datasets. Economic indicators were measured, and the economic maturity age was defined as the age corresponding to the maximum return on investment. Volume growth indicators were measured, where the age at the intersection of the current annual increment (CAI) and mean annual increment (MAI) curves was taken as the quantitative maturity age. The optimal final cutting age was obtained by comprehensively considering the three maturity ages mentioned above. The results show that the initial planting density for cultivating Chinese pine construction timber forests should be relatively low, controlled below 2500 trees per hectare. Before final cutting, pruning measures and reasonable thinning can be adopted to promote the efficient cultivation of Chinese pine construction timber forests. The technical maturity age for cultivating medium-diameter class Chinese pine construction timber forests is 47 years, while that for large-diameter class ones is 50 years, which can be appropriately delayed by 3 to 5 years to obtain high-quality large-diameter construction timber; the economic maturity age is 47 years, and the quantitative maturity age is 35 years.
