## Description of the data and file structure

The Excel file named Anti_predator_behavior_07082025.xlsx contains behavioral ecology data examining how spotted lanternfly anti-predator behaviors (Sidestep, Hide, Jump) vary with factors like developmental stage, tree type, microhabitat, and group size. 

Each row shows the data from a single behavioral assay in which we recorded the behavior of a spotted lanternfly nymph in response to a simulated predator attack.
