Human Broncial Epithilal cells (HBEs) exposed to NETs compared to HBEs exposed to PBS show upregulatation of genes, most of which were related to IL-1 family members and GM-CSF. Overall design: RNA sequencing performed on primary HBEs from three healthy control subjects exposed to PBS or 5µg/ml human NETs isolated from three unrelated healthy donors for 18 hours.
