资源简介:
Previously, no measure existed to assess the diversity of social identity. In the current research, a new measure of social identity diversity, known as the Diversity of Social Identity Scale (DoSIS), was developed. The research findings provide evidence that the DoSIS is a reliable, valid measure and that diversity of social identity is associated with positive aspects of mental health, including emotional intelligence, extraversion, agreeableness, positive affect, satisfaction with life, and other measures of well-being. In addition, the scale predicted level of psychological distress 12 months after a baseline for participants with high levels of life stress events. The dataset contains results of a longitudinal study into social identity diversity including validation with the above measures.
