Microplastic spiked soil mass distribution of water-stable aggregates

Here, we are investigating the formation of water-stable soil aggregates after soils have been spiked with different microplastics (polymer type, size)*. The fractions had been sieved to <250 µm, 250-1000 µm and >1000 µm. Results in % were normalized to the soil recovery, which was always >95%. +S in the datasheet indicates that the soil was recombined with the sand (250-2000 µm), while all other incubations were conducted with soil sieved to <250 µm. * Microplastics are defined here as particles < 5 mm
