"This dataset provides high-resolution quarter-hourly electricity consumption data for Germany covering the period from 01 January 2015 to 27 February 2026. The data were exported from the SMARD electricity market platform operated by the German transmission system operators and include total actual electricity consumption measured in megawatt-hours (MWh).The dataset contains continuous time-series records at 15-minute resolution, enabling detailed analysis of load patterns, seasonal variations, long-term demand trends, and the impact of renewable energy integration. The data reflect the total system load as defined under Commission Regulation (EU) No 543\/2013 and reported to the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform.All yearly CSV files (2015\u20132026) have been consolidated into a single compressed archive for convenient access and research use. The dataset is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, permitting free use, distribution, and adaptation with appropriate attribution.This dataset is suitable for research in power system analysis, load forecasting, renewable energy integration studies, smart grid modeling, energy economics, and machine learning applications in energy systems."
