The tapes record speed of sound conductivity on 9-track tapes, measured from rig or platform.There is a range of test results listed on the cards. Many different kinds of well logs have been invented for the scientific study of drill holes, for example:- gamma ray (natural radioactivity)- speed of sound conductivity- electricity current reading; electrical response- seismic data- navigation- velocity data, and- exabyte tapes (and 3.5 inch floppy diskettes containing SP Location Data).
