CALGB 80303 was a randomized, phase III study in advanced pancreatic cancer patients treated with Gemcitabine plus either Bevacizumab or placebo. No difference in overall survival (OS) was observed between the two arms. We prospectively collected germline DNA and conducted a genome-wide association study (GWAS).]]>
No documented invasion of adjacent organs by CT scan No prior chemotherapy, radiation therapy, gemcitabine or bevacizumab treatment, thrombolytic agent treatment No recent invasive surgical procedures No significant history of bleeding events No clinically significant cardiovascular disease No recent arterial thrombotic events No evidence of CNS disease No serious active infection No serious or no-healing wound, ulcer or bone fracture Not hypersensitive to Chinese hamster ovary cell products No currently active second malignancy other than non-melanoma skin cancer No pregnancy or breast feeding Age >=18 ECOG performance status of 0 to 2 and adequate bone marrow, renal, and hepatic function ]]>
