资源简介:
Mental health is defined by the WHO (2013) as a state of well-being in which the individual is aware of his or her own capabilities and can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community Thus, numerous studies have demonstrated the relationship between psychosocial conditions at work and the mental health of workers, showing that mental disorders such as anxiety and depression have a very negative effect on quality of life and functional capacity at work. Therefore, the importance of detecting, preventing, diagnosing and intervening in work contexts to promote mental health from the workplace, generating the reinstatement of employees with mental disorders, is highlighted. In addition, attention to these problems is considered a fundamental right, which is the right to health (in a comprehensive manner, i.e., including mental health).
